Our design team’s goal was to create a more open floor plan with a better flow while still defining spaces and creating intimacy and purpose for each space. They opened up the floor plan, enhancing the natural light and creating a cohesive flow between the different areas of the home. The result is a home that feels bright and spacious, inviting you to explore the space and the client’s unique collection of art displayed thoughtfully throughout the home.

One of the most striking features of this renovation is the custom live edge door and the European white oak live edge floating shelf in the entryway. These key features add a touch of nature and elegance to the space, while also commanding attention. These focal pieces were designed to reflect the ceramics artist’s love for natural textures and finishes, juxtaposed by natural stone, metal, and porcelain materials. Principal Designer Brooke Meyer says, “The sink is one of my favorite parts of this design, and was one of the most unique experiences we’ve ever been able to share with a client.” She goes on to say, “Having the client collaborate so closely with us on this made the design that much more special.”
